Website information
We aim to keep programme details, prices, times and locations accurate. They may change before a booking is confirmed, for example because of venue availability, demand, safety or circumstances outside our control. We will make important changes clear before you commit to a paid booking.
Registering interest
Sending the registration form is an enquiry only. It does not reserve a place, take payment or create a coaching contract. Joe will contact the parent or guardian to discuss suitability, availability and next steps.
The 12-week Saturday programme is presented for ages 7–13. If a child is outside that range, the form recommends a personal-coaching enquiry so Joe can advise; it does not promise that coaching will be suitable or available.
Booking and payment
Places on the 12-week Saturday programme are booked and paid for through Bookwhen, using Stripe to take payment. We never see or store your card details. A place is only held once payment has been made.
The programme costs £75 for all twelve sessions. You can pay in full, or pay a £30 deposit to secure the place with the remaining £45 due before the first session. By booking you confirm you are the parent or guardian of the player.
If you need to cancel
Before the course starts. Cancel more than 48 hours before the course begins and we will refund everything you have paid, deposit included. For the autumn course that means 11:00 on Thursday 17 September 2026. Inside that last 48 hours we cannot refund, because by then the place has been held for your child and there is not time to offer it to someone else.
Once the course has started. We cannot refund part-way through, and that includes the deposit. The £75 buys a place across all twelve sessions, and that place stays your child’s whether or not they make every week.
If your child misses a week. That is completely fine and it happens. There is no need to tell us in advance, though Joe always likes to know. We cannot refund or carry over a missed session, because the place was there for them.
If something serious changes. A long-term injury, a house move, anything that genuinely means your child cannot carry on — talk to Joe. The rule above is the rule, but he would much rather hear from you than not.
How to let us know. Email joe.toplass@footballdevelopmentacademy.com, or simply tell Joe — a message or a word at the pitch is fine. Email is safest if you would like it in writing.
If we have to cancel
A single session. Occasionally a session cannot go ahead — a frozen or waterlogged pitch, a venue closure, or Joe being unwell. If that happens, the session is added to the end of the course rather than lost. Your child still gets all twelve sessions; the course simply finishes a week later than planned. We will let you know as early as we can.
The whole course, before it starts. You get back everything you have paid.
The whole course, once it is under way. We will always try to reschedule first. If the remaining sessions genuinely cannot be rearranged, we will refund what you have paid less £6.25 for each session your child has already had — that is the £75 course divided across its twelve weeks. The rule about no refunds part-way through applies when you choose to stop. It does not apply when we do.
Using the site fairly
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or harmful information, interfere with its operation or use its content unlawfully.
Content and intellectual property
The site’s branding, writing, artwork, photography and design belong to Football Development Academy or are used with permission. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please ask before copying, republishing or adapting its content.

Links to services such as Facebook and, in future, Bookwhen or Stripe take you to independent websites with their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not give us control over those services.
Liability and legal rights
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that consumers cannot legally waive. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers retain any mandatory rights that apply where they live.
